7 Great Activities to make you want to visit Abu Dhabi

7 things to do in Abu Dhabi may not sound like many but each one is awesome!  Abu Dhabi has lots of exciting activities to offer lovers of luxury, nature, culture, thrills and wildlife.

I brought together 7 of my favourite things to do in Abu Dhabi, including high speed thrills at Ferrari World, a visit to a falcon hospital, afternoon tea at the unbelievably opulent Emirates Palace – aka how to see this incredible hotel without paying $14,000 per night to stay there! – and of course the breathtaking Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

Outside of the city I’ve covered escapes into the timeless splendour and serenity of the desert.  Go to a private desert reserve owned by on of the royal sheikhs where you’ll see rare Arabian oryx along with sand gazelles and mountain gazelles before eating traditional at a Bedouin camp.  You may even want to try a smoking a shisha or having a spot of henna painting.  All after riding a camel, of course.

For those in search of solitude, the edge of the Rub al Khali – the fabled Empty Quarter – is in Abu Dhabi and for me it’s the most beautiful part of the entire country.  Camp under a million twinkling dots of light in the inky sky and drift off to sleep counting shooting stars instead of sheep.

Comments are closed on that post so I’ll comment here! Great round-up, wish I had went to the falcon hospital! Sheikh Zayed mosque, desert safari tour and Ferrari World were what I had experienced in Abu Dhabi. The city does not have plenty of touristy things to do yet but I appreciated Abu Dhabi for what it is. There’s a certain charm to it somehow.

Thanks for coming by my blog! Also wanna tell you that I had referred to your Dubai dressing guide before I went =D
